The Afghan Armed Forces is comprised of mostly slightly trained soldiers around the ages of 24-35. Many of them are aided terrorists or local mercanaries, although not all soldiers are cannon fodder. Some are more well trained and almost all of them go into the Afghan Elite. The others either are commanders of sqauds or bodyguard.
An estimated 57,000 soldiers are currently existant in Afghanistan, and are quite slowly expanding.
