The Gateway to India Arch is a major monument in Davacore . Costing 347 million rupees ($43.375 million) to produce, it was a lot to pay for an arch; but worth it. The Gateway to India Arch consists of three arches; one major central arch and two lesser side arches. It is an instantly recognisable monument and a symbol of Davacore all over the world. Construction began in 1974 and finished in 1977.
